Job Description: Cleaner
Pay: £11.72 (plus Pension Contributions)
Hours: 14 hours per week over 5 days, including some weekends
(6-month minimum probationary
period)

Crispin
Hall Trust is a registered charity that operates Crispin Hall and Crispin
Community Centre in the heart of Street: these are vibrant hubs of local creative
and community activity. We are looking for a Cleaner to help with the
day-to-day operations of the Crispin Community Centre and Crispin Hall.
Purpose
of Role: Responsibilities include ensuring the community
centre and grounds are cleaned and maintained to a high standard. You will be
responsible for equipment and products used in carrying out your role,
including inventory and safe storage of all supplies. This position holds
multi-site duties within Crispin Community Centre & Crispin Hall. You will
be expected to perform a daily
cleaning rota and a once weekly clean of the hall and its kitchen.
We are looking for a
person who is dedicated, proactive, helpful and who wants to make a difference.
Key Attributes:
· Adaptable and Confident working on your own.
·
On the Spot Cleaning during business opening hours.
· Good interpersonal skills: capable of communicating well
with staff, volunteers & the general public.
· Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations would be an
advantage. Training will be provided.
· Computer Literate.
·
Organised, punctual and reliable.
·
Problem solving skills.
· There needs to be a degree of flexibility on
hours, as and when it is required, this will be discussed during the Interview.
·
The role is not limited to these duties and will
involve ad-hoc tasks as required, and is expected to evolve over time.
Experience:
· If you have previously worked within a similar role then
this would be advantageous.
A DBS check will be required for our successful candidate (payment
will be met by the employer)
